Most of my power strips look the same. They are made to basically hide away under a desk or in a corner, so that the resulting cable mess doesn’t take over your desktop. That’s not what Coalesse’s Power Pod is for. This handsome power strip is circular and begs to be placed in a place of prominence on your desk.

It’s circular and has room for six plugs, and its round design easily can accommodate multiple AC adapters at the same time. The Pod includes surge protection and an on/off switch. When it’s not being used, you can hide it away and make it look like a pen holder.

t might make sense for certain uses, like in corporate environments, but my usb power strip are always in use, so the pen caddy would never get used. Still, the Power Pod could look good on a nice desk – until you start cluttering it up with ugly cables and power packs.

Even as Apple introduces the new iPhone SE and the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, the company is also retiring two more products. The Apple Store is no longer selling the iPhone 5s and the first version of the iPad Air.

It's not exactly a surprise to see that Apple has decided to say good-bye to these two devices. The iPhone 5s. launched in 2013, is much less powerful than the new iPhone SE, while keeping the same 4-inch display size. The first iPad Air was also released in 2013 and was already supplanted by the newer iPad Air 2, which launched in the fall of ipad cables2014.
